The petrol and diesel prices remained constant on July 18 for nearly two months now except for Maharashtra. Last week, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde announced a VAT cut in petrol of Rs 5 per litre and Rs 3 per litre on diesel.
